It seams to me that things have become more and more complicated in the road to a championship. What happened to the days of a dominant champion who came victoriously through the fire of competition to stand alone at the top! Now we have computers, polls, and what if scenarios that seam to take away the luster of a champion. It can now be debated that if this would have happened or if that team would have played this one the outcome would be different. I say why can we not got back to simple times, simple things, simple ways.
Just a thought!

I read kobe's comments again today and believe as I did before that Kobe is writing his whining strategy. In other words even he doesn't believe they can win.
"We just wet the bed," Bryant told reporters. "A nice big one too. One of the ones you can't put a towel over. It was terrible."
The Lakers are now 3-1 down in the best-of-seven series and will need to become the first team to recover from such a deficit in the NBA Finals if they are to lift the title.
"I'm not thinking about beating them three straight," Bryant said. "We're thinking about beating them on Sunday. Then you move on from there.
"Take one swing at a time to chop down a tree." (Ruters)
Everyone should now be a believer in a one man show cannot win a championship!!

Well my Pistons lost, but my Red Wings won! No one seams real excited about that except for me. My Tigers are struggeling, but there is hope for them. They just need to get back the one thing that has aluded them for years! A manager!
By the way the job hunt isn't going well. I know who cares.
Ok, I signed up for fantasy football and I can't wait untill the season comes around. I need something to look forward to. Sad isn't it?
Well thats the update for my blog that know one reads.
Time to put on the thick skin!

What I love most about sports and sports fans is that the everyday nature of life in general never comes into conversation. Sports is a complete distraction from the everyday problems that face America today. No poltical debate about the presidency, no conversation about gas prices, and certainly no mention of econimic hardships. That is in my opinion what makes sports so great!
Sports can bring together the rich and the poor, the educated and non, the affluent and the redneck. The only line that can be drawn here is the team that you root for and the city in which they call home. It is a truly freeing existince that makes me wonder, if everyone was passionate about the sports teams in thier town and watched them religiously would this country be better of or worse! I wonder!
I would love to get your opinions on this!

Just to clear things up!
Ok in my world there are two kinds of people, cow's and rhino's! The cow does what everyone else does, they follow the heard blindly, they conform. The Rhino on the other hand is a two thousand pound thick skinned trail blazing animal that makes it's own decisions and thinks outside the box.
Which are you, really!?

The sports fans must be bored with the NHL, NBA, and other sports that are going on right now! Why? I'm reading blogs like (briefly) "Lets count to 1 million", "What are you listening to" and "Post a joke and get 5'ed". What's this all about.
Just an obsevation

I have set hear for quite awhile now reading the blogs, responses, comments to games, officials calls, coaches and other fans and it interests me how much passion we can have about a team, player or coach who pays us nothing, acknowledges us rarely and certainly would not like us telling them how to play, coach or call the game. Yet, we watch with addoration, frustration and jubilation and then can't wait untill the next season starts! Oh well I guess it keeps us from being...
This blog is my outlet for the things I read and want to respond to in the world of the, what I call "cows" (more on that later).
Lets have some fun!
